ROADWARRIOR Inc. manufactures a wide range of diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs) for model year 2007 and newer medium duty trucks, buses and heavy duty class 8 diesel trucks. All DPFs and DOCs are guaranteed to install as a direct fit part and work with your truck's ECU. We are a fast-paced, highly motivated team of individuals, looking for a Fitter/Welder to join our growing organization. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Fitter/Welder will be responsible for welding of a variety of products, while managing multiple tasks and maintaining a high attention to detail to ensure specifications are met.




        Welding of a variety of products to create final product per engineering drawings (blueprints) and procedures, using a variety of welding methods (e.g. tack welding).

        Ability to build products from blueprints and ensure internal quality measures are applied.

        Conducting first-off inspections to ensure adherence to specified requirement and products are free of defects.

        Maintaining assigned work area and equipment in a safe and professional manner.  


        High-school diploma; welding school is an asset.

        Welder Trade certification an asset OR previous welding experience required. 

        Strong knowledge and experience with MIG (metallic inert gas) and TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding of thin gauge stainless steel.

        3 – 5 years’ experience welding thin gauge stainless steel and a fitting background is required.

        Must be able to work independently and be flexible to work various shifts and tasks as assigned.

        Excellent communication skills in English required (verbal and written).

        Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly within a shift.

        Ability to read and interpret a variety of welding blueprints, drawings specifications and technical manuals to fit and weld our products.

        Ability to use a variety of hand and measurement tools for a fabricating shop.

        Exceptional problem-solving and interpersonal skills considered an asset.

        High level of concentration and focus required.




        Position Type: Permanent, Full Time

        Vacancy: (2) Morning: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

                      (2) Afternoon: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

        Salary: TBD per hour plus shift premium, for 40 hours per week, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits

        Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
