Flexographic Press Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Flexographic Press Operator to set up, operate, and maintain flexographic printing presses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality printed materials while ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to production schedules. This is a full-time, afternoon shift position with benefits package available.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate flexographic printing presses according to job specifications
- Mount plates, adjust rollers, and configure press settings for optimal performance
- Mix inks and ensure proper color matching and consistency
- Monitor press operations and make adjustments to maintain print quality
- Inspect printed materials to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop new skills; on-the-job training provided
Work Environment
- Fast-paced manufacturing/printing facility
- Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and inks/chemicals
- Requires standing for extended periods, lifting, and physical activity
