Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and quick-learner to join our team as a Locksmith Apprentice.

The ideal candidate will possess a versatile skill set to perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks across residential or commercial properties. This role offers an opportunity to work independently, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and contribute to maintaining safe and well-functioning environments. Shadow Senior Locksmith Technicians and learn the basics of Locksmithing with potential to grow in to a more skilled position.

Duties

• Perform general repairs including learning to fix locks, learning to fix/install door operators and handi-cap operators.
• Conduct routine maintenance on building systems and fixtures.
• Assess repair needs and determine appropriate solutions promptly.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of basic and general repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and work independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks.
• Valid G driver’s license preferred for transportation between sites.
• Clean Drivers Abstract and willing to obtain a Criminal Record Check.
• Reliable transportation and own basic tools are required.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Must be at least 25 Years Old for insurance purposes and Must have a Valid G Drivers License and Clean Drivers Abstract.
