About the Role
As a Needle Loom Operator, you’ll be responsible for operating specialized needle loom machinery used to produce textile-based products. This role involves preparing materials, monitoring machine performance, troubleshooting minor issues, and ensuring high-quality output. You’ll be an essential part of the production process and work closely with plant leaders and team members.
What You’ll Do
- Transport raw materials throughout the plant using forklifts and powered lifting equipment
- Load fiber materials into feed systems and prepare machines for production
- Set up needle loom lines and adjust machine settings based on specifications
- Monitor machine operation, inspect products, and ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot equipment stoppages and report mechanical or safety issues to supervisors
- Complete routine cleaning and basic maintenance, including removing fiber buildup and replacing simple components
- Move finished goods to designated storage areas using forklifts or pallet-handling equipment
- Accurately complete production and quality documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and safety protocols
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in manufacturing or machine operation
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail when monitoring machines and inspecting product quality
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to identify minor equipment issues
- Reliable, safety‑focused, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Comfortable working in warm environments, cooler drafts, and dusty conditions

Valid Forklift certification
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, and repetitive motion
- Lifting up to 50 lbs independently; heavier loads require assistance
