Press Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Press Assistant to support the Flexographic (Flexo) Operator in the setup, operation, and maintenance of printing presses. This is a full-time, afternoon shift position with benefits package available.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Flexo Operator in setting up and preparing printing presses for production
• Load and unload materials such as plates, inks, and substrates
• Monitor press performance and assist in adjustments during print runs
• Clean press equipment, rollers, plates, and work areas
• Mix and maintain ink levels according to job specifications
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as required
