Caregiver/Attendant Position – Employer Profile and Job Description

Position Overview

Seeking a female for a long-term, full-time, team-based caregiver/attendant role supporting a 66 year old individual (female) with a physical disability: quadriplegia.

Location is Schomberg in a quiet residential setting. Live-in is available, but not a requirement, with private living area, if they chose to live-in. Respectful, quiet, and well-organized home environment.

Care Model

Care is provided by a team of 3 + people.  Shifts are shared and scheduled with structured coverage and planned time off.

The ideal candidate may be someone who has worked in long-term or agency home care, or has a trained healthcare background.  However, we will train for this position and do not require certification. Experience in mobility care would be an asset.

Responsibilities:

Personal care (dressing, hygiene)

Mobility assistance (transfers to wheelchair and bed)

Meal preparation and assistance

Light housekeeping

No driving required

Hours and Start Date

30-40 hours per week
