Historic Interpreters/Gift Shop Managers

Are you looking for a summer job that offers the opportunity to obtain valuable work experience, gain transferable skills, work as a team, and have fun? We have six summer positions available at the historic and picturesque Coldwater Mill for friendly, outgoing and responsible individuals!

• 8-13 weeks
• youth aged 15-30 years of age
• both student and non-student positions available
• no previous work experience required – we will train the right individuals
• $16.50 per hour – 30 hours per week
• must have own transportation
• must have a Social Insurance Number

Job Description

• Welcome visitors, conduct tours, and provide information
• Provide care and maintenance of the property and exhibits
• Be responsible for opening and closing the Mill
• Manage the Gift Shop: displays, sale of merchandise, vendor sales tracking, cash register reconciliation, making bank deposits,  and complete transactions
• Manage site bookings
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage assigned work
• Assist with community event days and the Farmer’s Market
