The Career Centre provides support for youth employment in the Alliston, Angus, Barrie, Bradford, Cookstown, Innisfil and Orillia areas.

Youth Job Connection (YJC) and Youth Job Connection: Summer (YJCS)

These year-round programs are available to eligible youth aged 15 to 29, who are experiencing challenges in transitioning into employment or education. Programs are available in Alliston, Angus, Barrie, Bradford, Cookstown, Innisfil and Orillia to support youth to achieve their employment goals.

Through YJC and YJCS you get:

• Paid pre-employment training to prepare you for the workplace
• Services and support to secure a job placement for employment
• Mentorship, job coaching and help with the transition from school to work or to ongoing employment or education once the program ends
