Gatehouse Security Guards positions available in Alliston – 8 positions.

We currently have full-time openings at one of our manufacturing facilities in Alliston.

Please note that we prefer candidates with their own vehicle, as public transit and rideshare options to the site may be unreliable.  .

Pay Rate:

• Starting rate: $18.50/hour
• After probation: $19.06/hour
• After 12 months: $19.63/hour

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Valid Ontario G driver’s licence is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Reliable transportation to and from the site

Key Responsibilities:

• Control incoming and outgoing traffic at the plant
• Monitor security access, fire, and environmental systems
• Conduct identification checks and vehicle/trailer inspections, and maintain visitor logs
• Respond to alarms and coordinate emergency responses
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and emergency activities
• Manage emergency contact lists and access logs
• Perform standard security duties and assist with administrative tasks
• Use basic computer systems and radio communication equipment
