bmg. GLASS + ALUMINUM INC. is seeking a full-time Glass Installers to support our growing business.

About the Role

The primary role of the Installer is to fit and install aluminum, stainless steel, and glass assemblies on interior and exterior walls of commercial, industrial, and occasionally, residential projects.

Duties

• Installs pre-assembled framework for windows or doors designed to be fitted with glass panels
• Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, and glass products on walls, ceilings of interior and/or exterior of buildings
• Fasten glass panels into aluminum frames
• Repair and service residential windows, commercial aluminum windows, and other glass supporting structures with the ability to work at heights on scaffolding
• Performs other duties or projects as may be assigned

Requirements

• Previous experience in the construction industry, preferably in glass or carpentry
• Working knowledge of installing structures or fixtures
• Previous experience on how to perform glass, framework, and curtain wall installation however, we are willing to train the right candidate
• Valid G driver\’s license with clean driver abstract
• Certified boom/scissor operator an asset
