Locksmith Specialist

We are Central Lock and Key Inc. and have been proudly servicing Barrie, Orillia, Muskoka and surrounding areas as one of the leading Locksmith and Security companies since 2010.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Locksmith Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be skilled at installing, repairing, and maintaining various locking systems and security devices. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure the safety and security of our clients’ properties. The Locksmith will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace locks, safes, and security systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Conduct lockout services for clients who are locked out of their premises or vehicles.
• Perform maintenance on existing locking systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Assess security needs and recommend appropriate locking solutions.
• Cut keys and program electronic access control systems as required.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with clients.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Skilled Locksmith.
• Knowledge of mechanical locks, electronic access control systems, safes, and master key systems.
• Ability to operate locksmith tools and equipment efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot lock issues quickly
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Valid locksmith license or certification is a plus but not mandatory for all positions.
• Prior experience with key duplication, lock installation, and security system programming is desirable.
• Must have clean Drivers Abstract.
• Must be reliable, bondable and dedicated for our busy work schedule.
• Criminal Background Check Required.
• G Drivers License Required.
