Personal Caregiver/PSW

Now Hiring: Personal Support Worker / Personal Caregiver (Casual – PT/FT Hours Available)
Locations: Orillia, Barrie, Midhurst, Angus, Collingwood, Midland

We are urgently seeking compassionate and reliable PSWs / Personal Caregivers to join our community-based care team. We support clients across the lifespan and offer flexible scheduling with 3–12 hour visits, including days, nights, and weekends. We are a 24/7 service organization.

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Personal care and hygiene support

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

• Companionship and respite care

• Meal preparation

• Light housekeeping

• Range of motion exercises

• Medication administration

• Lifts, transfers, and safe mobility support

• Errands and community outings

• Escort to medical appointments

• Hospital companion / bedside support

Requirements:

• PSW certificate or equivalent preferred

  • Experienced UCPs/caregivers are welcome to apply

• Training provided for all staff

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Willingness to travel between clients (community-based role)

• Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS)

• Up-to-date two-step TB test

• Experience with Dementia, Stroke, or youth with special needs considered an asset

• Casual position with opportunities for part-time and full-time hours
