Seasonal Home Maintenance Technician (Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal)

Upkeeps’ 2024 Spring Recruitment is now open and we’re looking for positive and hard working Crew Members and Crew Leaders to join our Seasonal Home Maintenance teams.

Upkeep provides the highest quality residential window cleaning, eavestrough/gutter cleaning, and exterior washing services to our clients in Barrie, and surrounding areas of Springwater, Oro-Medonte, and Innisfil, to ensure their homes look their best and are well-maintained.

Crew Member compensation begins at $18.00/hour, with the potential for incremental raises as you become more proficient on the job. Crew Leaders are additionally responsible for job site management and driving vehicles between jobs. Tips from clients are not uncommon for doing an exceptional job and being pleasant to interact with, and are shared among the technicians on the job. Bonuses can also be earned for producing genuine 5-star reviews from our clients.

Due to the nature of work, you should be comfortable working on ladders, at heights of up to 2 storeys, and safely carrying and setting up ladders (up to 60 lbs). Work and safety training, and all required equipment, will be provided. Daily transportation to and from job sites may be provided – please specify whether or not you have access to transportation at this time.

For consideration you must be legally entitled to work in Canada and have a high school diploma. Crew leaders must be able to provide a driver’s abstract. An excellent customer service track record, cleaning and general labour experience, and a background in athletics are all considered assets.

Salary: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
