Job Title: 3-5 Year Apprentice Plumber

Positions available: 1

Rate of pay: Up to $60,000 annually + benefits ($25-27/hr)

We are looking for an apprentice plumber with 3-5 years of experience to join our Mr. Rooter team in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. We are a service-based, plumbing company and work with customers and clients to meet their needs on the job. Our plumbers perform plumbing services ranging from simple faucet repairs to water heater installations and plumbing services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Provide quality residential plumbing services to customers
• Performs maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installations and testing of plumbing systems and plumbing fixtures
• Performs preventative maintenance on plumbing systems
• Modifies piping systems as required
• Completes work orders in a timely manner with accurate documentation of work performed
• Performs all duties in a safe and effective manner
• Provides verbal or written reports as required
• Completes other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Plumber Apprentice with 3-5 years of experience as an apprentice with the appropriate hours/schooling
• Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
• Experience working as a licensed service plumber is an asset
• Additional mechanical experience would be an asset
• Knowledge of all applicable codes, standards, guidelines, and procedures
• Available for overtime including on call, as required
• Customer-service oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Takes pride in their professional appearance and demonstrates reliable attendance and punctuality
