DZ Driver/Shipping Assistant

Role and Responsibilities:

• Driving product to warehouse and back
• Assist with the picking/packing of outgoing customer orders
• Assist with the processing of outgoing customer orders
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to support any other processes involved in the order fulfillment process
• Heavy lifting, use of forklift, pump truck, wrapping and strapping skids, loading unloading trailers an asset

Core Competencies:

• Minimum 1 year driving experience
• MUST be able to drive a manual truck
• Valid and clean Commercial Driver’s License with Air Endorsement
• Enjoy physical work
• Basic math skills required
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated experience providing superior customer service
• Experience working in an environment where there is minimal supervision
• Must be comfortable with onboard computer technology
• Must have a safety and compliance mind set
