Home Support Worker for a Young Women with Developmental Delays

Duties 

Assistance with daily living and compassionate companionship in the home to guide through the daily routine,

Prepare and assist with special diet preparation and give medication

Ability to follow routine and schedule

Must be safety conscience and willing to learn new skills

Must be able to communicate and understand the English and able to learn to understand someone with low communication skills

Assist with light housekeeping, keeping environment safe

Physically able to assist client physically if needed.

Light Housekeeping, and Restrictive Diet preparation

Public Transportation is available to location of work

Certificates Required: 

Post-Secondary Education – 1 year diploma

CPR

First Aid

Experience with Adults and Children with Special Needs

Some training working with Special Needs.

Qualifications: 

Must be a female in good health

Punctuality, Organized, Effective interpersonal skills with a Special Needs Person, dependability, flexibility, initiative, Excellent Oral communication skills, reliability

Honest.

Hours Per Week:        30 Hours per week

Work Schedule:   Monday to Friday hours in the morning, afternoon and early evening based on need
