Looking for some good work or even a great way to break into the booming film and television industry? This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level, well-paid, unionized contract work as Location Support Personnel on and around film and TV sets in Barrie and surrounding area.
Job Details:
Shifts: Mostly 12-hour shifts, outdoor work in any weather. Days and nights available. Location: Primarily Barrie and nearby locations. Responsibilities: Many days will be easy. Some days you will be required to spend part of the day doing labor like snow shoveling or moving plywood, etc. You need to be smooth with your public and co-worker relations, and be able to perform common-sense tasks supporting the Locations Department.
Requirements:
Vehicle: A reliable vehicle is required to get to job sites and for shelter while on location. If you do not have a vehicle but do have a strong constitution and work ethic then please message me and we’ll figure out if you are an exception. Communication: We do all scheduling and communication via text messaging, so a good cell phone and availability to respond promptly are required. Eligibility: You must be an Ontario resident, legally able to work in Canada, and fluent in spoken English.

How to Apply: We will hold our ONLY Hiring/Training Session on Monday, January 27th in Barrie at The Bayfield Mall Career Centre (320 Bayfield Street) starting promptly at 12 noon. We will spend 2 to 3 hours explaining the position and the industry to you and then have a Q&A session, after which you will have a five minute interview. Be prepared to attend the entire session which begins at 12:00. You can just show up, but please respond if you are planning to attend.
