LOCATION: Alliston, ON (Victoria St. E/ Church St. N)

• Looking for mature qualified Personal Support Workers to start IMMEDIATELY
• Experience working with Alzheimer’s/Dementia
• Part-Time hours evening shifts & weekends, 7 days a week
• Some Basic Personal Care & Primarily Companionship

PSW Role:

· Assistance with personal care, activities of daily living – personal hygiene and grooming

· Assist with safe mobility and transfers

· Assist with light household duties – meal planning and preparation, general light housekeeping, organization

· Companionship – Enriching activities and social engagement to enhance quality of life

PSW Qualifications Required:

· Valid work/study permit (if applicable) and/or College Diploma

· Vulnerable Sector Screening (Police Clearance)

· Current CPR/First Aid Certification

· Current Tb test

· Up-to-date Immunizations (MMR, TDAP, Varicella, Hep B) considered an asset

· Strong communication and documentation skills

· Strong problem-solving, and excellent team player
