What can I expect to do in this role?

You will:
• coordinate the daily schedule and assignment of all court support staff, interpreter bookings and receive, process and file appropriate forms and reports
• adjust courtroom staff work assignments as required
• provide support to courtroom staff
• monitor and maintain courtroom documents
• provide clerical assistance within the criminal court office
• provide support in relation to transcript requests

Please note: position requires the use of electronic monitoring equipment.

How do I qualify?

Organizational and Communication Skills:

  • You have demonstrated organizational skills to coordinate the daily schedule and assignment of all court support staff, interpreter orders, process written requests
    • You have demonstrated communication skills to deal tactfully with co-workers, the public and judiciary to communicate with diplomacy in dealing with members of the public in difficult situations

Knowledge:

  • You have knowledge of and ability to understand and apply relevant regulations, procedures related to criminal court operations
    • You have knowledge of office procedures and practices such as filing, responding to general correspondence and telephone inquiries

Computer Skills:

  • You have the ability to operate a personal computer using appropriate software
