Welder/Field Service Technician

Responsibilities:
In the position of Welder/Field Service Technician your responsibilities will include but not limited to welding during waste equipment installations, service calls, and installation of garbage/linen chutes. You will also be required to be comfortable with standard hand/power-tools as you will be required to aid in the repair and installation of waste equipment at various customer locations.
In the position of welder/field service technician your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
– Installation of new and retrofit waste equipment – training will be provided
– Stick welding during the installations
– Responding to service calls
– Diagnosing and repairing waste equipment at residential buildings
– Preparing and making recommendations for additional repairs
– Clean driver’s license required – driver’s abstract required
– Good written and verbal skills
– Customer service driven
– Filling out and completing various work orders; and submitting them to the office
– Knowledge of welding – certification an asset
Requirements:
You will have welding experience as well as a valid license is a must for this position. You will have the ability to work independently. CWB certification is an asset. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and a Team Player.
