Yard Worker

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full time Yard Worker, work is conducted outdoors throughout the year.

Transportation can be provided from and to Barrie.   The average travel time for commuting is approximately 50 minutes each way.

Responsibilities:

• engage in manual material handling of both large and small formwork and scaffolding components
• utilize a variety of hand and power tools to remove, repair, and replace basic components, e.g. hammers, chisels, screw drivers, spanners and pliers, drills, saws, grinders, routers and rivet guns

Qualifications:

• physical capability to lift up to 22lbs on a regular basis and up to 45lbs occasionally
• physical capability to stand and walk up to 10 hours daily
• prior experience in a similar role, preferably in an outdoor environment
• prior experience with a variety of hand and power tools
• ability to distinguish between different parts and components based on their colors, shapes, and sizes
• flexibility to work overtime on weekdays and weekends when necessary
